A Light and Airy Hearth

House Beautiful Magazine features a A Light and Airy Swedish-Style Cottage.
"It's young, light, and happy," says designer Alexandra Angle of this Americana-meets-Swedish cottage home in Venice, California. She brightened up the formerly dark house by redoing a hearth in colorful tiles, adding beadboard to the walls, and using plenty of cheery patterns throughout.

"It was inspired by antique Swedish tile stoves. There was just a plain firebox there, and I came up with the idea of tiling the wall with antique Portuguese tiles. I took them all the way up to make it more of a focal point," explains Angle.

Ventless Fireplaces are a great way to spruce up your decorating without the costly and timely process of remodeling a brick hearth and chimney.  No electricity, no gas, no flue required.  www.hearthcabinet.com

This Old House TV Project: Before and After

Via This Old House:
"Remodeling is no task for the timid—especially if you've barely lived in your house before taking the plunge. But a fast-track timetable suited Allison and Raveen Sharma, owners of the latestThis Old House TV project, just fine. Before buying their 1940 Colonial Revival in Auburndale, Massachusetts, the couple asked their architect for ideas on updating it. Scarcely more than a year later, they're living in the sunny, colorful home of their dreams, courtesy of theTOH TV crew and a design team that understood and improved upon the couple's vision. Red walls set off by white trim offer a dynamic backdrop for the revamped living room."

Hearth Cabinet offers traditional, contemporary, and custom designs that are easy to install for any renovation project.

A Fireplace and A Flair for Uncommon Goods

Do you have Unique Taste?
Atlanta Homes Magazine showcases designer Benjie Jones' Virginia-Highland one-of-a-kind home that's ready for the holidays in its own special way.  “I never have liked the idea of destroying a mantel just to put a wreath on it,” says Jones, referring to his own living room mantel, decked out with nothing more than a couple of stockings and a holiday card-studded mirror. Paintings hung gallery-style are a mix of fine art and flea market finds.  Adding to the drama is the abundance of black used here and throughout the house, spectacular against the seasonal infusion of reds and greens.
Hearth Cabinet Ventless Fireplaces can easily customize your hearth to your desired dimensions, powder-coated color, and interior/exterior finish.

Cozy Kitchen Hearth Designs

Via Houzz: What makes a kitchen cozy? It's the kind of place where you want to hang out in your PJs with a cup of hot cocoa. It's a place where families gather to go over their days and eat dinner together. It's that kitchen where everyone at the party inevitably winds up gathering. While there are plenty of different elements that can bring the cozy, it's ultimately the right combination of them that makes a kitchen warm and inviting.
Fireplaces are often a part of kitchen decor and add a nice of glow to any gathering in any season.  A flueless fireplace from Hearth Cabinet is easy to install in a kitchen of any size and saves room for maximum functionality.
